Special Thanks to ido bason for the video and guy shachar for the stills images.

What Do Trees Do at Night? – Hatzanchanim Street

Yossi Jimmy
Israel
Green Trail Site number 22

There is a huge and ancient tree that stands beside the Old City wall. It seems as if this tree has a whole mysterious life behind it, as if it collected memories and moments throughout its life, some revealed and some hidden. So what do trees do at night? The tree’s shadow, a witness to the tree’s memories, dreams and thoughts, will answer this question.

Yossi Jimmy – Animation and video artist with much experience as an animator and designer for the television and cinema industry in Israel and internationally.
Jimmy’s involvement in the rock band “Altneuland”, as a bass musician, and in music in general, enables him to combine audio and visual, and the connection between reality and imagination and sound and picture. Jimmy is one of the creators of the installation “Ori” that was displayed at Batei Michse Square during Light in Jerusalem 2009.
